The Leaves Are Falling

Rainah has been wanting to go out and play in the leaves, so since it was a nice day, we pulled the rakes out. As we were piling up the leaves for her to jump in, Cheyenne brought us back one of her "finds", (if you get grossed out easily, you may not want to look at the first few photos!)
Rainah had a great time jumping, raking, jumping, throwing leaves, jumping, and just getting filthy out in the yard. Needless to say, it was straight to the bathtub when we were done!

Back Into the Swing of Things

Between all of the loads of laundry and getting used to being home after a week on vacation, Rainah and I found some time to do our usual playing outside, which consists of her handing me chalk and wanting me to draw things.
Later on in the evening, we even played outside for awhile with Cheyenne and daddy!

Under the Table

So, Rainah likes to eat. From just a few months old she was always very interested when Don and I would eat and she has pretty much been eating regular food since 6 months. Lately, whenever there is rattling of bags in the kitchen, not only does our CHOW hound, Cheyenne come running, so does Rainah. She stops what she is doing and crawls right into the kitchen (and mooches whatever people are eating). Tonight, this was the scene at the dinner table:
