Mom and Dad came out for a few days to visit and check out the butterflies with us. We got there nice and early and Rainah showed them around like she owned the place. As time went on it got more and more crowded and as we were leaving the area where the butterflies were, a school group was just coming in- that place gets crazy! It's hard to take pictures and keep your eye on a busy toddler, so it was nice to have mom and dad there to help out. Dad got some good shots, too (these are all mine except for the last one):

Future Rock Climber?
The other day when it was nice out, we went outside with Rainah to play. At one point I was across the backyard and when I looked over, she had just climbed up the rock wall on her play gym all by herself. I couldn't believe it. I got a few photos, and today got it on video!

The Best Easter Bunny EVER!
Rainah and I hung out with mom and dad for a few days (and Jess and Justin, too, as they were home for a few days). I was hoping the Easter Bunny would be at Twelve Oaks while we were there, because he is sooo much better than the bunnies here in Grand Rapids. Unfortunately he wasn't coming until Saturday morning, which is when we were planning on returning home, but we decided to swing by the mall to see him on our way back.
Rainah was a bit apprehensive at first and a small struggle ensued, but after a game of peek-a-boo and tickling his feet, she eventually sat for a few pictures. She was very excited to get a book from him when she was all done, too.
And one more tickle!

The Miracle Just Keeps on Going
This morning we had MOPS... last time they moved Rainah up to the next age classroom, and they tell me she did great (they didn't come and get me, so I'll take their word for it). Today when we arrived we started walking down the hall (usually at this point she realizes where she is and the little bottom lip starts coming out). I took off her coat and she simply said, "bye, mom-mom", and walked through the door. All the other moms looked at me with shock. I kept expecting to hear her start to freak out, but it didn't happen. I still half-expect them to come get me at every meeting, but we are doing great! Maybe I won't have to attend kindergarten with her after all!!!

It's A Butterfly Spring!
Today Rainah and I went back to FM Gardens to check out the butterflies during the day... there were a lot more than when we were there last, and Rainah walked around telling all the butterflies that were on the flowers to, "Wake up!". Since it was pretty nice out we also spent some time in the Children's Garden and she had fun climbing around in the tree house. We also stopped by the activity building where she got to do some butterfly puzzles, read some books, and even dress up like a butterfly. Did my best at getting some good shots (of both butterflies and girl), but it's a bit hard between a two year old who can't stay in one place for more than two seconds, and all the people and school groups that are there. Here's what I got, though:
